Repentance does not seem like a gift until it is taken away.
⏤ the LORD to a chosen soul

GOD's standards
Our standards
god's scale oF righteousness
ARE YOU READY to meet the LORD when He returns?
How do you fare by God's standards? What if today were your last day of life on earth, how do you measure up to God's standards? Is your house in order?
I am fairly certain that if those individuals had known they would perish in the September 11, 2001 -attacks on the World Trade Center - they would not have come to work that morning. No one is promised tomorrow.
Therefore, speak to the LORD today about your life. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the darkness that is still within, areas that are displeasing to Him that you might not be 'living it right'. Sin - the contamination of one's soul - leads to moral corruption. What started out as a spot, if left unattended will develop into a blemish; and before long, will become a wrinkle. God wants us to be spotless in His sight. And that means blameless.
While no one is perfect - for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God - our intentions need to be perfect. Our efforts need to stem from the love for GOD and for our neighbours.
It is therefore a good practice to perform a personal audit of oneself regularly to evaluate one's strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvements. We need to be honest with ourselves in all aspects of our conduct. It is sometimes painful to look within ourselves and consciously put an end to our sinful ways. The truth about ourselves at times can be unpleasant to face.
When you have fallen short, face it, and humbly seek the face of the LORD asking for His forgiveness and grace to overcome it, in the spirit of repentance. That is what repentance means - to acknowledge and turn away from our errors and to reform. Live each day as if it were the last day of your life.
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2Ch 7:14
There is a deadline to all things. This is a call to action. Look into God's mirror. Are you in the right disposition to be counted worthy to be 'caught up' when the LORD returns? Test yourself. Below is a checklist to evaluate your own spiritual condition:
The checklist:
1. Do I humble myself daily before the LORD? (knowing fully I do not have the means to save myself)
2. Do I get rid of my PRIDEFUL ways and conduct? Am I boastful?
3. Do I CONFESS my sins daily? Do I practise daily repentance? Deep repentance requires a daily repentance coming before the LORD as we truly are, the courage to admit where we have gone wrong. We can also perform a life review of our life from young and identify the times we have fallen short.
4. Do I believe and have FAITH in all things good?
5. Do I REJECT evil and all its ways?
6. Do I spend QUALITY time with the LORD in prayer?
7. HONESTLY consider the motive of all your actions. Are they motivated by charity out of love for God and others? Are you honest and virtuous in all your dealings, practicing high moral standards? People know if someone is honest or not. Let alone GOD who 'sees' all our thoughts, intentions, and things done in secret.
8. Do I study the WORD of God? Do I make time to read the Bible?
9. Are you careful with the words you speak? Jesus said we will be held accountable for every idle word we speak.
10. Do I SERVE and help those in need?
11. How do I measure up to GOD's Commandments?
12. Do I walk in the SPIRIT or do I walk in the flesh? Galatians 5:16 spell out what it means to 'walk in the Spirit'.
13. Have I misrepresented CHRIST's love, mercy and compassion when dealing with others? Remember that while in this world, we are His ambassador and witnesses to His love, mercy and compassion towards others.
14. Am I obedient to the LORD's voice?
15. Do I proclaim the LORD from the rooftop? Do I share the Truth of the Gospel of JESUS?
16. Do I make SACRIFICE on His behalf, ie. fasting?
17. Do I act wise in my own eyes?
18. Do I FORGIVE those who have hurt me? Am I doing good to those who hurt me? Do I harbor any offenses, anger, contempt and bitterness in me? The Lord says no one can get to Heaven if he/she does not forgive his neighbours. Forgiveness is love. It is possible to spend the whole lifetime here on earth not practising forgiveness and carry that into eternity.
19. Am I living in a 'fantasy world' instead of facing reality with courage, trusting in the LORD to lead us? To understand what fantasy means, please watch this testimony by Rod Pickens.
20. Do I gossip about others? Am I SELF-RIGHTEOUS? When someone we don't like experiences hardships, do we adopt this 'serve-him/her-right' mentality, or do we show compassion, praying that God's compassion is shown to him/her?
21. Do I JUDGE others? Note that judging others is different from using your judgment. The measure by which we judge others is the measure by which God will judge us.
22. Is there any evidence of moral corruption, where my values are compromised - where the line between what is right and wrong is not clearly defined?
23. Are you indulging in self-pity? The LORD says self-pity is a sin. We subject ourselves into living a life of excuses, blaming others for getting us into a situation, thus self-justifying ourselves for living in the current condition. Learn from the LORD, who never allow self-pity to overcome Him even when He was wrongly accused by the Jews, resulting in His crucifixion.
24. Do I hold any offense in my heart?
25. Am I faithful to God's Commandments?
26. Am I willing to commit to personal holiness? It comes at a cost. It means having to say 'No' to certain types of people; saying 'No' to soap operas, cutting down on recreational activities and making time instead to reflect on the Word of God [Scripture], saying 'No' to certain type of entertainments or TV programs that are unhealthy for our soul -online and offline.
'Holiness comes from being close to Him who is holy,' explains John Paul Jackson. At any given moment, it is an opportunity for us to exercise personal holiness by the decisions we make. It is a commitment on our part on a daily basis. It is also important that we understand what it means to be holy for, without holiness, no one can see God.
The Blessed Virgin Mary - through a seer - warns that, it is the duty of every Catholic to keep the Faith and preserve one's soul in the state of grace, which is much more demanding in our days than in the past, because of the greater power of the enemies - the devils.
In order to keep the true Faith, and to keep one's soul pure and clean of any sin, the Christian will have to make special efforts in the practice of virtues, in regular prayer, reception of the sacraments, denouncing vanities, pleasures, fashions of the world - which are the cause of all kinds of temptation and sin.
These efforts are to keep us in that 'constant state of grace'.
The right GOD-image
As believers, having the right GOD-image is very important because it affects the way we reach out to others. Know what GOD is really like through the pages of Scripture. We have to embrace both His kindness and severity. GOD does not wink at sin; nor does He tolerate it; the wages of sin is death. For this reason, He sent His only Son to the world to give His life as ransom for many, so that all who believed in Him might be saved.
It is therefore a good practice to develop a healthy dose of fear of the LORD; for the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Study the Beatitudes and you will have a good idea of God's justice and righteousness. He is both the Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah. Bro. Neville Johnson once had a visitation from a saint in Heaven, and he gave this advice concerning this: Know what God is really like; then be like that to everyone. And you will become like Him.
The Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes should form our standards and the way we conduct our life. When we sin, we impede the flow of grace. Disobedience to God's Commandments - which is essentially the Law of Love towards GOD and our neighbours- is sin.
As believers, we are called to be faithful to God's Law - which is not human law nor religious law. It is this Law of Love by which all our actions are measured, for Love is the currency of Heaven.
And when we talk about love, we are dealing with relationships.
Our faithfulness to God's Law - The Ten Commandments - will be tested in the Last Days. Bro. Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj explains that, "the love for GOD will be tested when the Antichrist comes into the scene. The love for our fellowmen will be tested when we are going to betray one another. You are going to throw people into prison." You can listen to Bro. Sadhu's full discussion on this subject here.

Blessed are those who do His Commandments, that they may have the right to the Tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
⏤ REV 22:14 | NKJV
Our faithfulness to the Covenant is not a one-occasion, one-time thing. It calls for a committed effort on our part as believer all throughout our lives. The LORD explains to a chosen soul, "It is tedious; it is tenuous at times, but nothing worth anything is gained by just a few lame tries. It takes practice. It takes failure. It takes embarrassment and confusion. It takes commitment but eventually you will get it right."
If we love GOD, we will strive our best not to offend Him. Breaking the Law comes with serious consequences as we find in 1 Kings 11:11. Loving GOD must go hand-in-hand with the fear of the LORD. They are inseparable. Practise daily repentance, for it is reformation. This is a process and works in stages. We go through stages of purification and purging as the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sin [including hidden sin that we might not be aware of], identifying areas of strongholds - if any - that need purging. Weed out the garden of your heart daily. Through this process, we become more and more Christ-like. Neville Johnson reinforces, 'When He can walk in your garden, you can walk in His.'
God also allows certain trials in our life to temper our virtue, with an aim to hone our character. How we respond to these challenges, how we overcome them will determine the final outcome of who we will ultimately become. For the times we have fallen short, turn to the LORD with confidence, seek His face and ask for His mercy, wisdom, strength to overcome them.
All I am asking of you - so you will fit into your pristine Bridal gown - is an HONEST self-appraisal. If you are holding scorn and contempt for anyone - voluntarily, wilfully - you will not stand before Me on that day. Love is my Standard. Patience, long-suffering, kindness, mercy, meekness, the Beatitudes - this is the description of My Bride. My Bride must resemble Me.

What to do after a fall
THE GREAT WARNING
The coming Illumination of Conscience | The Great Warning

A number of seers and mystics of the church have foretold of a coming Event that will happen in this generation. It will be a supernatural event that will happen in the sky that will be seen by all of humanity - Christians and non-Christians alike. This Great Warning was first prophesied by The Blessed Virgin Mary during her apparitions to four children in Garabandal, northern Spain in 1961. She appeared as Our Lady of Mount Carmel and foretold of a coming Event – today we understood to be the Illumination of conscience - a Warning coming directly from GOD that will be seen by everyone worldwide and then felt interiorly. It is sent to correct the conscience of men and to prepare them for the Great Miracle that will come after that.
When this happens, all activities will cease supernaturally, literally frozen in time. During this Event, one will experience an 'open book judgment' of one's life. Every act that is done, whether openly or in secret - both thoughts and deeds, good or bad - will be laid bare before the LORD who sees all things. We will 'see' our soul the way GOD sees it. Christine Watkins, who authored the book 'The Warning- testimonies and prophecies of the Illumination of conscience' gives an insightful observation, "Right now, you and I are already either in Heaven, Purgatory or hell; it's a state right now."
There are also testimonies documented by Christine - people who have experienced this 'mini judgment' first-hand, what that felt like, which you can read in her book. We need to get accustomed to the idea that everything that we've ever done is recorded and subject to Heaven's scrutiny. [Be mindful that GOD considers our thought - which is our imagination - an action accountable to Him. Matt. 5:28]
This is a daunting thought and should keep us in a state of humility, to always walk in a spirit of repentance, never to judge anyone before the time, knowing fully we ourselves will one day be judged by GOD, the Sovereign Judge.
During this Great Warning, people will see JESUS bleeding on the cross. In a private revelation to a chosen soul, the LORD reveals that “It is not the sight of My wounds that causes their suffering; it is the depth of the soul knowing that he has placed them there. It is not the sight of My wounds bleeding that causes their suffering; it is knowing that man’s rejection of Me has caused My wounds to bleed.”
Its purpose is to prove to the world that GOD exists. It will liken to the Final Judgment except that we will not be condemned. But there will also be those who have been in a state of mortal sin, who have rejected GOD and are heavily weighted down by guilt that will not live past this day.
For those who are faithful to the Gospel of JESUS, it will be an opportunity to repent and draw even closer to Him. It will be a great act of Mercy from the Almighty, the greatest purification since the beginning of creation.
A testimony of the Great Warning
The LORD has asked us to prepare ourselves now as that Event will happen soon. Come before the LORD today, go through with Him your whole life from childhood until this day, areas where you might have displeased Him and ask for the grace to overcome our wicked or sinful ways. Here is a Crusade Prayer, which we can pray daily together with the Divine Mercy and Rosary, for the reparation of sin.
We can also learn from the life of the Saints. They once walked this earth and are faced with similar challenges, trials and struggles we face today. In our own community, we could also identify with certain individuals who live an exemplary Christian life. These are saints in our midst living a virtuous life, exercising good moral standards in their dealings with others.
They are also not perfect human beings like us. Along the way on their spiritual journey, they too have fallen many times but each time after a fall, they would rise up. They never give up and continue to march forth steadfastly until they reach the finishing line. They overcome their flaws trusting in GOD's mercy, His grace and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We too can emulate them.
The Blessed Virgin Mary speaks concerning 'The Warning'
Dear children, thank you for having responded to my call in your hearts. My children, many of you are waiting for the Warning as if it were only mercy, but remember, children, it will also be an event that will surgically expose your lives. My children, I have come among you to put together my little faithful remnant.*
Children, do not be like the Pharisees: do not be false, remember that I see your hearts and nothing will ever be hidden from me. Children, always bear witness and have courage; sometimes you feel the fear of the judgments of others just as did the Apostles, and some of them denied Jesus out of fear, yet they were chosen by Him.
Children, pray for the powerful of the earth that they would not take the path that they have in mind, because my children and their future will depend on their plans — wars are being programmed. My children, I am here and I love you. Form prayer cenacles everywhere: today the world has need of you — pray for the Church and for those who govern you. Now I leave you with my maternal blessing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen.

DO YOU KNOW JESUS?

JESUS died on the cross for all men. We must first accept Him as Our Lord and Saviour in order to be saved. If you are new to the Christian faith and you do not yet know who JESUS CHRIST is, rest assured. All is not lost. Trust in God's mercy. For it is written:
" For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."
⏤ John 3:17 | KJV

In order to be saved, it is necessary for you to be born again. When you are born from your mother, you are born into this physical world. But there is a second birth you need to go through in order to have eternal life with GOD. This born again the second time - a spiritual birth - is done through JESUS, by praying to Him, asking Him to come into your life, into your heart and to show you His world and to have a relationship with Him. You ask for forgiveness of your sins because He die on the cross for your sins. By dying for your sins, they are no more if you receive JESUS.
When you are born again, you become a new creature. Your spirit is dead until you are born again. The following prayer is the first step you need to take. Recite the following Salvation Prayer, with a sincere, repentant and contrite heart.
salvation prayer
THIS is a Salvation prayer if you are truly willing to surrender fully to the LORD and let Him be the LORD of your life; to love Him with all your being. Say this out loud and mean it in your whole heart. This is the shorter version. For the longer version, you can find it here. You can kneel before a cross when reciting this prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, Lord I know I'm a sinner and that without you I am lost. Please forgive me for my sins, for the sins I've committed against others, and help me to forgive those that have sinned against me.
I believe that you sent your Son, Yeshua, to die on the cross for our sins, that He rose again 3 days later, and that He is coming back for me. I accept your gift of salvation, and ask that you come into my heart and be my Saviour. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and give me all the blessings promised in your Word and those that you want to give to me.
Help me to live for you from this day on. Thank you Father for sending your Son.
AMEN.

You stand to lose everything if you continue to compromise and the Day will spring upon you like a trap. There will be no last minute chances, for the day and the hour are swiftly coming. And woe to you whom the Master finds preoccupied with the world upon His return. You may yet be saved, but as one going through the fire.

Footnotes
What is holiness?
Holiness is to be 'set apart' for God's purpose. You only do what the LORD tells you; nothing on your own. It is ownership, and your behaviour is a by-product of this holiness. This is when the LORD owns you; the more you give yourself to Him for His purpose, the more He can set you apart. Holiness is obedience. For more info on holiness, watch Kevin Zadai's encounter with JESUS here.
DAILY REPENTANCE is like doing regular checks on our physical health, where we monitor our sugar and cholesterol levels, blood pressure etc.] to ensure everything is in order. Likewise, our soul needs to undergo similar checks too…Here, we perform an examination of conscience by honestly measuring ourselves by GOD’s standards [not the world’s standards] - looking into His mirror, which is His moral law- namely, the Ten Commandments. Ultimately, it is by these standards we are judged by our Creator - whether we are found favorable in His sight or not.
JESUS’ coming into the world over two thousand years ago reinforces the significance of living by these standards set by the Eternal Father. He said ‘Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.’ [Matt5:17] Even JESUS abides by the Law.
